The Timmins Family Counselling Center (TFCC) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides tailored services for employees and their families through voluntary, confidential, short-term counselling and advisory services.

Integrative options that complement existing EAPs

In Northern Ontario, businesses and organizations often have access to mental health coverage through their existing Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs). However, the financial allocation for mental health services per employee and their family is typically limited, often covering no more than three individual counselling sessions. Yet, it is well-documented that individuals may require between five to eight sessions to see significant benefits. Timmins Family Counselling Center (TFCC) recognizes this gap and offers local businesses the opportunity to provide additional counselling sessions to their employees.

TFCC collaborates with companies to ensure seamless integration of services, billing the benefits directly when possible. Should employees require further sessions beyond their EAP coverage, TFCC can arrange to bill the supplemental sessions to the business, ensuring continuous support for your branch employee well-being.
